It was our turn to host assembly for week 9. This weeks value was Integrity. Rūma whā impressed so many people with their presentation and speaking. I am so proud of the effort they put in to make this a success. Well done all of you!

This weeks award winners! 

Arthur received this weeks Pride award. Arthur shows integrity in all he does. This past couple weeks he has done some outstanding work in writing. Keep it up Arthur.
Oliver received our te reo Māori award for have great enthusiasm in all lessons with our amazing te reo Māpri teacher Roz. 
Adriana has been working really hard in maths and has impressed me with her measuring skills.
Jase has also been working hard in writing this week. He can write some amazing sentences when he puts his head down and does the work! Keep it up Jase. 
Nayah was awarded for her incredible Māori leadership during our class Pōwhiri. Tino pai!

I am constantly impressed by this group of awesome ākonga. This week for our celebrations and ceremonies topic we performed a Pōwhiri. We welcomed Rūma toru into our class. This was lead by our incredible Māori tamariki. Nayah is wearing our class Korowai. She was super proud to have this on and she was one amazing leader.
It was awesome to see the rest of our students, Pasifika and NZE get involved. They love getting to be a part of different cultural activities but are also super excited to get a chance to share their own culture in the classroom.

 Se'epa is our next Duffy award winner! Se'epa is a diligent worker who continues to impress everyone with the quality of work she produces. Se'epa, well done, and keep up the amazing mahi.

Oliver received this weeks Pride Award for being a responsible member of room 4, always. 
Evee has been completing her work to a very high standard this week and I have been super impressed! well done Evee.
Mark was a swimming champ this week! He got in the pool and loved every minute of it. Keep up the awesome attitude Mark. 
Saint has been working so hard at his basic facts and it's really paying off in our math lessons. Ka pai Saint.

 The Tamariki have been so excited for the opening on the new library. They love being able to come and choose new and exciting books. :)

 The kids have been loving Discovery time. In room 4 we have been exploring creations using fabrics and materials. Look at these awesome ideas.
